Heather McFarland is the Executive Director of the Alamo Heights School Foundation and a passionate advocate for public education. With over 20 years of fundraising experience, she has successfully raised over $24 million throughout her career. Heather previously served as the Executive Director of the Down Syndrome Association of South Texas, and before moving to San Antonio, she was the Executive Director of a public school foundation in the Kansas City area.
In addition to her extensive experience, Heather holds a Bachelor’s degree from Creighton University and an MBA from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. She is also a graduate of the first cohort of the CEFL program established by NAEF and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).
Heather’s leadership and dedication continue to have a profound impact on education and community development through her work with the Alamo Heights School Foundation.
